Over 40 years ago, a tradition was created when Harry J. Hoenselaar first opened his HoneyBaked Ham store in Michigan. He made sure he selected the best and finest quality bone-in ham, cured it with his secret marinade, and then, for tenderness, smoke it for over twenty four hours hours over a unique blend of hardwood chips. He than added a crunchy sweet glaze that fast earned a reputation as a must for holiday ham. He even invented and patented a machine to slice each ham in a single, continuous spiral.
Now, four hundred stores later, his descendants continue to offer HoneyBaked Hams that remain a holiday must.
A newer location, on Polaris Parkway, adds to the wide selection of menu choices for the Polaris Mall area.
