Opening on Oct 25, 2001, Polaris Fashion Place is a multi level shopping center on the northern side of Columbus, Ohio. The mall, locally owned by Glimcher Realty Trust, is located just off Interstate 71 on Polaris Parkway in Delaware County. It is located just north of the line between Franklin and Delaware Counties. The mall’s main anchors are Von Maur, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s (formerly Lazarus), Sears, JCPenney, and The Great Indoors. A former Kaufmann’s Store has been torn down to make new room for an outdoor shopping district. The mall features 150 plus other stores, plus a nice food court with lots of choices located on the upper deck. The unique architecture of the main stairwells of the mall were made to resemble a high heeled shoe.
Polaris Mall is one of the biggest shopping malls ever built is located in central Ohio. This 1.5 million square foot mall sits on the Polaris Parkway, in Delaware County. The Polaris Mall features 150 stores, there is a store to please everyone in this huge mall. If you ever get to Ohio you just might want to make a point of visiting the Polaris Mall to check out all the entertainment, fashions, fun and some pretty tasty food.
This premier shopping mall offers leather chairs, wooden tables, real stone, beautiful wood and plush carpeting. You won’t see this type of furnishings in most newer malls now days. All the main areas offer natural lighting. For convenience, this bi-level mall features three escalators, two staircases and three elevators to help you move around the 3/4 mile complex. Three ATMs are provided to keep the money flowing for all the stores. To leave the mall you can choose from six various exits.
This mall is well known for hosting some of the most spectacular annual events that benefit customers as well as the local community. One great event is put on by Benihana where they sell children’s meals and all the money raised is then donated to the worthwhile St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. The mall also puts on a big ad display for the Race for the Cure Cancer Foundation.
Polaris mall has taken customer service to a new high by providing travel arrangements, transportation services, wheel chairs, walkers and strollers. You can arrange to use their personal shopper service too. There are more than 80 restrooms throughout the facility, nursing rooms and they have handicap accessibility.
Other unique services include valet parking. To use this service a client would simply drop off their vehicle at the central drop off area, and then can pick up their car at the mall entrance. You won’t have to drag all your purchases around the mall as you can leave them at a convenient coat and package check point. To top it all off you can get a fantastic shoe shine while you’re at the mall. The lower level in between Sears and Saks Fifth Avenue even has a wonderful kids play area.
The Polaris Mall includes six main anchor shopping destinations, including The Great Indoors, Sears, Macys, JC Penney, Von Maur and the luxurious Saks Fifth Avenue. You most assuredly wont go hungry during your stay at the Polaris mall, as there are eight excellent restaurants to select from. From Molly Woos to Brio Tuscan Grille, The Cheesecake Factory. Local Favorite the Polaris Grill and the California Pizza Kitchen all offer great menus and a wide variety.
Polaris Mall has also partnered with some terrific local hotels that allow you to get special group rates for rooms, all are conveniently located within a few minutes drive to the mall. The Shop & Stay packages include the Comfort Inn, Best Western, and Embassy Suites.
Some of the more unique food specialties being offered in the mall are the Cajun Cafe, Godiva Chocolatier, the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and if that doesn’t work for you or you a watching calories then a quick visit to Auntie Annes Hand-Rolled Soft Pretzels shop ought to fill you up.
You will surely stay amused for hours on end with the distinctive shops, such as Victorias Secret, the Sunglass Hut, and the kids of all ages favorite Disney Store. If the kids have tagged along with you and while browsing they somehow catch wind of the Disney Store, you better plan on hanging out for quite a while! The Polaris Mall provides a premier set of choices for just about every imaginable type of store that you can possibly think of all conveniently in one large, yet very well designed shopping mall.
